Acts Ministry:
The acts ministry brings the Bible alive through dramatization.
What better way to paint a clear picture of God’s Word than
through a skit or play. The heart of this ministry is to reach
God’s beloved through the power of a visual demonstration.
Alpha Angels:
The wide-eyed wonder of a child is amazing and pure. The Alpha
Angels (ages 5 and under) gather together every Sunday morning
to sing, dance and worship the King. The Alpha Angels are on
the move!
Christian Education:
The Christian Education Ministry is dedicated to empowering
God’s people through the knowledge of His Word. Christian
Education oversees many aspects of teaching including the Youth
Bible Study, New Members Classes, Vacation Bible School as well
as providing teaching support to the seniors and homeless.
Gatekeepers:
The Gatekeepers are true servants of the Lord! They greet each
and every guest/member that enters the house of NBKMI with a
spirit of genuine love for those who are seeking the Father.
Hands of Faith:
The Hands of Faith believe that the whole man must be fed! This
ministry sees to it that the family of NBKMI and the community
of Englewood are well fed physically so that the spirit man may
be made ready to digest the “Bread from Heaven”.
Married Couples: Every
2nd Friday the married couples have a group session
to discuss ways to improve and strengthen their relationship.
With God as the third cord, there is nothing that can’t be
accomplished for the good.
Media: Have
you ever received a powerful Word and thought how nice it would
be to place it on pause and just let it marinate in your spirit?
Well, your prayers have been answered. The Media Ministry of
NBKMI makes hearing the vision of God a reality!
Menō
Ministry:
Menō, which means abide, is a ministry dedicated to praising and
worshipping GOD in “spirit and in truth” through movement
without words. The Ministry ushers in GOD'S presence by
allowing Holy Spirit to dwell within to guide every movement. Menō
is devoted to equipping the Ministry for the building of GOD'S
Kingdom through daily prayer and study.
New Members:
The New Members Ministry embraces the Babes in Christ as well as
the Seasoned Veterans of the Lord. For 10 weeks, they provide
valuable in-depth teaching time with NBKMI’s teaching staff as
well as with Pastor Samuel Sams. It is in this ministry that
the foundational things of the God are learned and applied.
Operation JERICHO: Jesus
Energizing the Righteous to Invade Cities
Held under Occupation–that’s Operation JERICHO!
This ministry is invading and occupying the enemy’s turf in the
communities of Chicago through street evangelizing and
witnessing for our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
Praise & Worship Team:
Praise is what we do! We believe that everything that has
breath should praise the Lord. This ministry flows in a
prophetic anointing and sings praises to God with true, divine
sincerity. We lift up our voices and our instruments to exert a
resounding anointing of praise unto the Father however He
desires and in His timing!
Sons of Wisdom Ministry (SOW):
The Sons of Wisdom provide spirit filled teachings and plan
fellowship events for men. They are dedicated to addressing
topics that bring about spiritual growth as it relates to
marriage, family and living a victorious life in Christ Jesus.
This ministry also supports young men (Boys to Men) and
offers mentoring/teaching as it relates to the basic biblical
principles of Kingdom Living.
Tephillah (Intercessors): Thessalonians 5:17
says that we are to “Pray without Ceasing”! The
Tephillah Ministry, which means prayer, is always on guard with
an ongoing prayer vigil on behalf of NBKMI as well as matters
that impact our nation.
Women of Wisdom Ministry (WOW):
The Women of Wisdom Ministry is comprised of women of all ages,
all backgrounds and all economic back-grounds. Yet, we have one
common thread that binds us together and that is our love for
the Lord God. This ministry provides teaching and counseling
for every woman who desires to get the needful things from the
Master. It supports our young women (Vessels of Honor)
and offers mentoring/teachings relating to the basic biblical
principles of Kingdom Living.
Yadah Praise and Worship Dancers:
Yadah, which means to worship with extended hands, is a group of
young men and women who serve as a catalyst for true worship.
God desires Praise (which is thanking Him for what He’s done)
and Worship (which is glorifying Him for who He is). As
Holy Spirit leads, Yadah freely dances to God’s beat of praise.
With thanksgiving in
their hearts and banners/streamers in hand, Yadah has been
ordained to usher in His presence.
Youth Ministry:
The Youth Ministry joyfully ministers to children ranging from
ages 3 to 17. They are committed to teaching all children the
ways of God through Bible Study Groups, most notably Youth Quest
and Teen Quest (Tuesday Night Bible Study). The surrounding
communities have been impacted by the Youth Ministry’s Back to
School Fair whereby hundreds of children have been blessed with
free book bags complete with school supplies. More importantly,
prayers are spoken over every school aged child. The youth of
NBKMI are destined for greatness! |
